Job Description:
As the Landscape Foreman, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on-site, leading the crew, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of landscape construction and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of landscape workers in the installation and maintenance of landscapes, including planting, mulching, hardscaping, and irrigation.
Operate and supervise the use of equipment such as skid steers, excavators, front-end loaders, and Ditch Witch.
Communicate with clients and management to provide updates and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain high safety and quality standards on job sites.
Train and mentor crew members, ensuring proper techniques and efficient work practices.
Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide effective solutions to meet project goals.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a leadership role in landscaping or a related field.
Proficiency with landscape equipment and tools, including skid steer, excavator, front-end loader, and Ditch Witch.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor tasks.
A commitment to safety, quality, and timely project completion.
